But for those who want to learn how to build a lifestyle business and are willing to put in the work, welcome! 

Since 2013, I’ve tried my hand at several online businesses.  

I created my own t-shirt company and made one sale (ha)! 

I’ve written a couple of kindle e-books and made about $200. 

And I’ve started several non-niche blogs, attempting to drive traffic to them with social media.

None of these projects worked out very well. 

Sure, I made a few bucks here and there. 

But it wasn’t until I started learning about SEO (that’s Search Engine Optimization) and applying what I learned to my wife’s travel blog, that I started to see real success.  

We don’t make a killing from her business, but we do make a living. 

In fact, you can see exactly how much we earn from that business on her income report.   

Through this trial and error pursuit of lifestyle businesses, I learned a lot about how lifestyle businesses work and how to stack the odds of lifestyle business success in your favor.
